VR school leaders and VR lead teachers attended ResearchED 2018 in Haninge

What evidence do we have to guide our work at #VRSkolor?  How can we become a part of the conversation between educational researchers and teachers?  How do we know when we are doing the right thing? To find the answers to these questions, VR school leaders and VR lead teachers attended ResearchED 2018 in Haninge.

It was a jam-packed day full of lectures, workshops and seminars with national and international educational researchers.  Topics such as: difficult task of evaluating performance of a school, dual coding for teachers, retrieval practice, how to build successful professional development for teachers, formative assessment and comparative judgement, evidence-informed schools and much, much more.

We had an opportunity to talk with school leaders from the UK and Australia, as well as all over the Stockholm area.  We discussed our own experience and results. We now look forward to bringing back our experience to our own schools to keep the conversation going.
